Replica Flintlock Pirate Weapon 20"

This Replica Flintlock Pirate Weapon has a metal barrel and wood stock.  It is a non-functioning replica of a circa 1700 to 1800's pirate weapon and is for display purposes only.  The hammer can be pulled back and when the trigger is pulled, it will snap back to its original position.  It is almost 20 inches long and has excellent detail on the metal artwork.  Please see the additional photos for more detail.  The pirate weapon has a wood mounting stand with two metal hangers that hold the rifle in place.  The plaque is made so that can be placed on a table or bookcase or it can be hung on the wall.  The mounting plaque is antiqued with scratches and dents to give it an aged look.

 

Pirates would use any type of weapon they could find or acquire.  It was not unusual for pirates on a ship to have a variety of weapons that were made in France, Germany, Spain and England, and eventually those made in the United States.
