This Pirate Treasure Chest - Skull with Hat is hand carved and hand painted in Peru. It is made of solid wood and no two are the quite the same. The Pirate Treasure Chests are available in three sizes:
The small Pirate Chest is 5 1/4 inches high, 3 1/2 inches wide, and 6 inches long. When it is open, the compartment is 2 3/4 inches deep, 2 7/8 inches wide, and just over 5 inches long. The lid is attached with metal hinges and two leather straps hold the lid from opening all the way back, which saves the hinges from breaking.
The medium Pirate Chest is 6 inches high, 4 3/4 inches wide, and 8 3/8 inches long. When it is open, the compartment is 3 1/8 inches deep, 4 1/8 inches wide, and just over 7 1/2 inches long. The lid is attached with metal hinges and two leather straps hold the lid from opening all the way back, which saves the hinges from breaking.
The large Pirate Chest is 7 3/4 inches high, 5 3/4 inches wide, and 10 7/8 inches long. When it is open, the compartment is 3 7/8 inches deep, 5 1/8 inches wide, just over 10 inches long. The lid is attached with metal hinges and two leather straps hold the lid from opening all the way back, which saves the hinges from breaking.
