This Pirate Flag - Calico Jack - 3X 5 Feet, is outdoor quality, appliqued and embroidered weather resistant polyester fabric for lasting beauty. The tight embroidery stitch of this pirate flag, and intricate applique fabric cut outs, give you the exact same graphic from both sides. It has a reinforced edge with two metal grommets for attaching to a flag pole.
Jack Rackham was nicknamed “Calico Jack”, probably because of the calico pattern of his preferred clothing. Rackham began his pirate career with Charles Vane, a British pirate. As a pirate, Rackham was not a notorious terror of the seas but was made famous because of his association with Anne Bonny and Mary Read who were the most famous female pirates.
